Postcards and letters can be posted in the post-boxes in the hotels. They usually do arrive, in Europa after two to three weeks. Parcels can be sent from the hotels or the International Post Office in Pyongyang. Postmark for philatelists are to be obtaines in speciale shops.
You will not be able to use your mobile phone (and may have to leave it with the custom officials when entering the country). In the big hotels or in the International Communication Centre in Pyongyang it is possible to make an international call or send a fax. Internet and e-mail are not available.
