Displayed: times.Visas are a must for all foreigners except citizens of Turkey and the other countries of the CIS. It is recommended that visas be obtained at an Azerbaijani embassy or consulate prior to arrival. Yet visas may be purchased at Baku International Airport, with passports exchanged for pink receipts. Passports should be picked up at the Foreign Ministry building on Gyanjlik Square within 48 hours. As of September 1998, prices were in the tens of dollars for visas of a few days or weeks.
