Elegantly outlined against Kiev`s skyline at the top of Andreevsky Uzviz, at No.23, stands St. Andrew Cathedral. Designed in 1754 by the Italian architect Bartolomeo Rastrelli, it is one of the few buildings to have survived intact with no reconstruction. The interior of the building is now closed for remodeling.
