- Take a complete medical check of your body and be sure that you are in good health and fit for diving and that you do not suffer from chronic diseases.
- For a peace of your mind try to enjoy the service of Scuba diving cruises. They will enable you to do diving during the best times of the day in terms of light and currents.
- Current movements are important since they vary in direction and strength. Have a check before you enter into water. It is advised that dives be made with a moderate in-flowing current for safety reasons.
- Dive areas in the Maldives are of two types, the passes and the emerging reefs. Diving near the emerging reefs would allow you to descend to the desired depth regardless of the strength of the current.
