Displayed: times.In the center of Ararat valley is the architectural-sculptural memorial complex of the Sardarapat built in honor of the 50 anniversary of the Armenian people's victory over Turkish invaders in 1918. The winged oxen at the park entrance symbolize the titanic might if the people, while the 35 m. tall bell tower and the Victory Wall crowned white stone eagles personify the unbounded wile of the Sardarapat heroes. This remain one of the heroic past of Armenians, found near the complex is Armenian Ethnography Museum with about 2000 distinctive works of folk art on display, including pottery, carpets, musical instruments tapestry, lace and ceramics.
