Kafue National Park is one of the largest game reserves in the world and is considered to be Africa's best reserve for antelope.
The park covers an amazing diversity of animals, birds and vegetation. This is Big Five country and apart from zebra, blue wildebeest, buffalo, serval, cheetah, lions, leopards and elephants it boasts the greatest diversity of antelope in Africa including important populations of Defassa waterbuck and Red lechwe.
Birdwatching is also excellent - Kafue is home to over 400 different species. Angling enthusiasts will also be delighted by the superb fishing possible at most lodges. More info on: www.luangwa.net
