Displayed: times.his is the home of the public library and State archives. The library, founded in 1858, contains over 40.000 volumes, a few hundred of these from the XVI century and also 16 precious incunabulum's. Palazzo Valloni was seriously damaged during a bombing raid in 1944, numerous objects and pieces of written material were lost forever. In 1983 the library was completely reconstructed in a way that made it much more functional and more accessible to the needs of today's body of users. More info on: www.eurotravelling.net
