Podgora, The pearl of the Adriatic littoral, situated between Dubrovnik and Split on the slopes of the Biokovo Mountain and embedded in a landscape interspersed with olive-trees, pinewood and other Mediterranean vegetation, is the ideal place for rest and relaxation. Podgora is a delightful stone-built port. Its gentle beach is suitable for families with small children, thanks to its favourable climate, pebbly beaches and cosy bays, and a sea, which is relatively warm very early in the year.

The palm-fringed promenade is a popular pedestrian area on summer evenings and extends around the bay to the sheltered marina. There is a good selection of taverns and fish restaurants in this most picturesque seaside village. Podgora is an attractive seaside resort from early spring to late autumn.
