Mlini and Plat, Croatia

Enjoying fabulous views of the Adriatic, the quiet hamlet of Mlini on the Dubrovnik Riviera is sheltered by the surrounding hills, nestled amongst pine tress, cypresses, olive groves and oleanders all basking in the warmth of the Mediterranean sun. Translated, the name Mlini means old windmill and the centre of the village has a stream running through to the harbour and a beautiful coastline fringed with pine and cypress trees. Mlini is within easy reach of both the old City of Dubrovnik and Cavtat, which are a short 10km bus or boat ride away.

Plat is a tiny oasis of peace and tranquillity located between Mlini and Cavtat. With the beautiful pine and cypress trees hugging the shoreline and providing a welcome relief from the hot summer rays and its many enchanting bays and lovely beaches, Plat is ideal for those who want to escape the rush of daily life and yet have the convenience of being just 12km from Dubrovnik.
