40 km north east of Bandiagara, Sanga is the biggest village on the escarpment. The people are very used to the sight of tourists. It is best to visit on market days, check in advance since they have a five day schedule.
From Sanga you can easily visit a few villages in the neighbourhood: Bongo, Banani, Ireli.
For accommodation your best bet is the campement, otherwise try your luck at the Hotel Femme Dogon. Prices are in both instance about 2000 CFA and do simple meals. More info on: www.world66.com
