Displayed: times.Chintheche is situated approximately half way up Lake Malawi, 40 km south of Nkhata Bay. The road winds through the rubber plantations and picturesque forestry areas. Blue monkeys can often be seen by the side of the road. Chintheche town has a number of shops to buy local provisions and several bars and small restaurants in town and a garage, but there are no banking facilities. The area around Chintheche is becoming a popular holiday destination with a number of guest cottages and lodges dotted along the white sandy beaches. More info on: www.world66.com
