Lang Son province shares a common border with China. Local people live on exchanging trade at the border. Many open markets for local people, mainly the Vietnamese ethnic groups Tay, Nung, Hmong, Dao are of big curiosity. Forest products like bear hides, forest leaves used as medicine, honey, stuffed reindeers are common. Here, local food generally consists of forest products, and trees of deep and strong fragrance. What to see Tam Thanh caves there are three caves in the limestone mountain. The most interesting caves is the third Thanh. The waiting lady mountain legends said that a lady and her child were waiting for her husband, a combatant who left home for the war. She kept waiting for him but there was no news from him. She herself and her child became stone. They stand waiting forever.

Chi Lang gorges a lot of victories were achieved over here by the Vietnamese against the Chinese in the past. This narrow gap of the mount marked many fierce fighting between the Chinese and Vietnamese. Vestiges like temples in memory of the dead in war are still around.
