Cai Rang is the largest floating market in the Mekong Delta. 6km (about 3.5 miles) from Can Tho in the direction of Soc Trang, there is a bridge that is a great vantage point for photography. The market is best visited before 9am. Although some vendors hang out until noon, it's less lively after 9.

Cai Rang can be seen from the road, but is far more interesting to visit by boat. It takes about an hour by river from the market area in Can Tho.
