Limbe, Cameroon

Limbe...i really miss Limbe...I've been to Limbe last year when I'd my foreign assignment to SGS Cameroun for 4 months...Evelyne Simo arranged an out of town, just for a half day, for the 3 Filipinos (me, DAS and Let)...the place is good...the people have a warm welcome...the birds are freely flying in the city...I don't know when would be the next time to visit this foreign land...hope to see this place again...

I went to cameroon about a year and a half ago with my husband who is from Limbe Cameroon. You always hear things about Africa and the people. Well I met so many kind people and the beaches I went to were very nice. The food was intresting but I was pregnant ant the time so anyfood tasted diffrent to me. next month I am planning a trip to visit my husband who ended up having to stay, and bringing my two girls with me. Makenya hasnt seen her dad since we went last time and Zola -Badu has never seen him. So we are looking forword to a great visit

limbe is not for every one if you want ibitha and trash tourism stay away... if you want unspolit african coast line it's the bizz

Limbe....well all of Cameroon isn't for the cushy traveler. You need to have an open mind and great sense of adventure. Being easy going is a must. You go to a place like Cameroon to learn about a new culture and see a different way of life.

I can see where you're comming from George. I wouldn't make Limbe my yearly vacation destination but you sound like a Vacationer not a Traveler.

I was last month on the Limbe beach resort, and i really liked it.
Its not what you get in a 5 star hotel in europe, but the food was really good,
and the poeple were very kind, i want to say to george that if you dont want to see 'different things' you better stay home.

i have just come back from a honeymoon in limbe.i had a fantastic time.the beach is great.the fish resturants on the beach are brill.fish delicous!!!george,your full of shit

No one in their right mind would consider Limbe a "Beach Resort" town, let alone a "great" one. It must be the worst I have ever seen!! Even 4/5 star hotels are yuck. The sea is gross the hotels are terrible and the food WILL make you sick. Want beaches - go to Comores, Red Sea, Mauritius etc etc
