Displayed: times.Limbe is a great beach resort close to Douala. In the weekend it can get pretty crowded with people from the big city. The beach in town itself is too rocky, but Mile Six has a good black sand beach that is free of oil. There are a few hotels and restaurants. Bush taxis from Douala take an hour and leave from the Blv de la Reunification. More on www.world66.com
I was last month on the Limbe beach resort, and i really liked it.
Its not what you get in a 5 star hotel in europe, but the food was really good,
and the poeple were very kind, i want to say to george that if you dont want to see 'different things' you better stay home.

No one in their right mind would consider Limbe a "Beach Resort" town, let alone a "great" one. It must be the worst I have ever seen!! Even 4/5 star hotels are yuck. The sea is gross the hotels are terrible and the food WILL make you sick. Want beaches - go to Comores, Red Sea, Mauritius etc etc

I can see where you're comming from George. I wouldn't make Limbe my yearly vacation destination but you sound like a Vacationer not a Traveler.
