In earlier days Port Antonio was the number one seaside resort of Jamaica, visited by famous actors like Errol Flynn and Bette Davis. This was the place where cruise ships entered an the rich met each other. These days are over and Port Antonio has become a very quiet city. It has served as movie decor for Lord of the Flies, Mighty Quinn, Club Paradise and Cocktail. In front of Port Antonio an island is situated called Navy Island. This island was property of the actor Errol Flynn and where rich and wild parties were given. More to the east, an 8 km drive, you find the Blue Lagoon. This is a hole of about 55 meters deep. The water is deep green/blue colored (more green than blue in our opinion). From the restaurant you have a nice view over the lagoon. The movie 'Club paradise' is recorded here.
