Montego Bay is the city where the largest national airport is situated and because of that the first city most tourist see first. When walking down the airplane stairs you will feel the hot, humid air in your face, the first experience with the tropical climate ! The airport is rather modern and well organized, if you compare it to other airports in the Caribbean or Mid-America. You will be welcomed by a nicely and colorful dressed group of singers, while waiting for passport control. Montego Bay (or Mo'Bay as the Jamaicans say) is very famous because of its white sandy beaches, like Cornwall Beach or Doctor's Cave Beach. You'll have to pay a small amount if you want to enter these beaches. Mind you that its crowded with many tourists...
