Pulau Sipadan, Malaysia

Sipadan, which is located off the north-eastern coast of Sabah, lies right smack in the middle of the richest marine habitats in the world.

It is formed by corals atop an extinct volcanic peak rising 600 metres from the seabed and promises divers a fantastic diving experience.

How to get there

Most travellers fly directly to Tawau with AirAsia, or via Kota Kinabalu with Malaysia Airlines. From Tawau, itÂ’s an hourÂ’s drive to Semporna and a further 45 minutes by boat to Sipadan.
