This fairly new hill retreat is just a short distance from the famed Genting Highlands. It’s close enough to the capital city of Kuala Lumpur for those city-dwellers in search of a quick getaway to the cool, refreshing countryside – certainly a place for nature-lovers. At the Bukit Tinggi resort, visitors will find the interesting Colmar Tropicale, which is a replica of a 16th Century French village. A picturesque little village, Colmar has quaint sidewalk cafes, a clock tower with a great view of the surrounding area, 17 themed shops, and more.

At another part of Bukit Tinggi, a green walkway leads you through beautiful landscaped gardens to the Japanese Tea House, Tatami Spa and more.

There is also an 18-hole golf course at the Bukit Tinggi Golf & Country Club.
