?eský Krumlov is located about 160 km south of Prague. This medieval town is a true gem and one of the first places in the Czech Republic that was listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. You can see the castle and get a good feel about this beautiful town in one day, but if you can stay for two or even three days, we definitely recommend it!

By bus: A bus ride from Prague to ?eský Krumlov takes about three hours. It is a direct and easy trip. However, the bus can be crowded on Fridays and Sundays and if you don't have a seat reservation, you may have to stand for at least a part of the trip.

By train: A train ride is nice and comfortable but there are no direct trains going all the way from Prague to ?eský Krumlov. You have to change trains in ?eské Bud?jovice, which is easy enough. It takes 2.5 - 3.5 hours to get from Prague to ?eské Bud?jovice and then an additional 45 min. to get to ?eský Krumlov on a local commuter train, which will give you the genuine Czech experience!

By car: Driving is the fastest way to get to ?eský Krumlov and will give you freedom to stop along the way and enjoy the pretty countryside.
