Displayed: times.This is one of the oldest cities in Cyprus. A historical capital of the Western part of the island. Also owns an international airport. Right in the centre of the resort town there is a fishing harbour and the legendary fortress “Fort”, surrounded by cafes and tavernas. Paphos is a port city.. Landmarks and sightseeing include: tombs of the Kings and plenty number of archeological sites, Agia Paraskevi Church IX – XV centuries. Folk Art Museum, Palaipafos (Aphrodite’s Sanctuary & Museum ). Town of Paphos is an open museum and was included by UNESCO into the List of World Culture Heritage. There is only one natural big beach in Paphos. You should also visit local villages and enjoy home cuisine in tavernas, picturesque views.
