For a long time the local craft was badly known by the tourists who did not know where go to buy objects recollections and presents to reported. For some years with the professionalization of the craft of recollection, the farm-produce industry and the industrial art, the places of sales multiplied and got organized. Besides the traditional tourist craft, T-shirts, books(pounds), video cassettes, discs and audio cassettes, some objects made in Reunion are rather rare : Those elaborated from scales of turtles (jewels, boxes and plumiers lacquered with inclusions of scales) and of maritime leathers (galuchat ). We will find also original utilitarian objects realized thanks to the weaving mill of vegetable fibers, farm-produce products as salted as sweet, without forgetting the vanilla.
