Displayed: times.Saint-Pierre Pierrefonds International Airport is 5 km away from Saint-Pierre in the south of the island. It has been in operation since 20 December 1998 and services the Pierrefonds/Plaisance (in Mauritius) air line with at least one daily connection. From August 1999, there will be two daily flights plus an extra flight on very busy days. Regular bus services are available from Pierrefonds Airport to Saint-Pierre, Tampon, Saint-Louis, Entre-Deux, Avirons, Etang-Salé, Saint-Leu, Saint-Philippe, Petite-Ile, Saint-Joseph, Cilaos.
