Santa Ana is the second most important city in El Salvador, located at 60 kilometers west from San Salvador, the capital city. Santa Ana has approximately 250,000 inhabitants. Processing center for the large El Salvador coffee industry is located near Santa Ana. Currently there are cable TV, mobile phone, telephone, internet services availible throughout the city. Currently, the mayor of Santa Ana, Orlando Mena, is from the FMLN or the Farabundo Martí National Liberation Front, the main leftist political party. Mena was reelected on the national elections on March 2003. Many fine examples of Spanish colonial architecture can be found in Santa Ana; Catedral de Santa Ana (Santa Ana's Cathedral) Alcaldía Municipal (Santa Ana's City Hall) Teatro de Santa Ana (Santa Ana's Theatre)
