Inexpensive touring, Australia

In Australia, the least expensive way to see the country and stay overnight is by renting a car and staying at coach camps (these are private campgrounds around the country). They have coaches or camp-trailers for rent by the night or any length of time you want to stay while seeing the sights around the area. Each camp-trailer has a comfortable bed, all the cooking utensils needed as well as toaster, coffee/tea pots, etc. and a washroom. The cost for these stays is less than a bed & breakfast and motel or hotel. You will get help from the owner or your fellow campers on road conditions, things to do and see, and shopping.
