Tirana - Mosque Of Et´hem Bey, Albania

The Mosque of Et´hem Bey was built in 1793 and is probably one of the oldest buildings in Tirana and definetly the most distinctive one. It even survived the anti religion campaign during in the sixties when Albania declare itself as the first atheistic country in the world. There are some nice paintings in the dome and outside too. Sometimes the minaret can be climbed if the Muezzin will invite you.
