Travelling by train in Albania is as cheap as it is slow! A ticket from Durres to Tirana is 50 Leke one way or 80 Leke return (oct 2005). There are timetables inside Tiranaoutside train station and outside the one in Durres . You may get confused about the Tirana train station: it's an insignificant building at the end of Boulevard Zogu I Pare. The ticket office is opened about 15 minutes before the train departure.
