After my son and I got dried up and changed our clothes we struck out for something to eat! The Masferre Country Inn looked pretty cool! The dining area was beautifully decorated with old photos by Sagada born Eduardo Masferre. They depict early life in Sagada. My son had some chicken and I had some Pancit Canton. Both dishes were pretty good!! We were both so hungry that we could've eaten boiled cockroaches!! Well I could've but my son would probably starve before he tried cockroaches!! So when we were finished with our meal we looked at a photos that were on the walls. Then by the time we were ready to leave it was Very dark out!!! We didn't realize that Sagada doesn't have street lights! And we didn't even pack a flashlight! So we were trying to figure out how to get back to the Guesthouse without breaking a leg! It was as Black as Black can be!! We couldn't see anything except stars. The moon was not visible!! After a few minutes we could see a Jeepney driving down the road so we waited and luckily it was coming down our road! So as it got close (it was driving slow) I told my son to start jogging in front of it so we could use it's headlights for our safe passage home! It worked!!
