Mule Trains, Nepal

When you are trekking one thing to be aware of is the Mule Trains! I met them on the path quite often and I usually made sure that I was on the inside of the trail and not to the outside as it would quite often be 1000's of feet down if you were to fall! I didn't have any problems with any of the mules trying to run me over but it could be a problem if your not paying attention. Most of the lead mules have bells around their necks so you can hear the beautiful sounds before they are right on top of you.
