All over Nepal you will see the people utilizing what land that they have. As the country is very mountainous they have carved the mountain sides into farming land. The amount of work they have put into them is absolutely amazing! I have read over the years about the landslides that can occur after very heavy rains. So if your trekking in the area during heavy rains becareful. The terraces themselves are so photogenic. Looking back on it I wish I would have taken alot more pictures. Well I will on my next trip!
