Ogbomoso is fast becoming a cosmopolitan city with several social, medical and educational institutions springing up in the city in recent time. A typical example is the famous Baptist Medical Centre recently being converted to the Bowen University Teaching Hospital. Added to this is the magnificient LAUTECH Teaching Hospital Complex. This institutions have greater capability of reducing unemployment in the city and introduce to it medical and allied/related businesses and professions never known to the city and people before now. What of the expected influx of non-indigene deriving their means of livelihood by working in these institutions. Generally, the ecomomy of the city is going to receive a great boost and stepping up. Let our people brace up and prepare to sieze the great opportunities the localisation of these institutions and anxilliaryindustries are about to offer.Good time is ultimately arriving in Ogbomoso. Long Live Ogbomoso! Long Live Oyo State! Long Live Nigeria!

I'm looking forward to see the glory of Ogbomoso, Ogbomoso people are trying despite the criticism from the people that are too jealous of us, but my advise for our leaders is that. Please help us to make the dreams a reality by putting all the promises to action. Long live Ogbomoso, Long live oyo State, Long live nigeria.

My call to the good indigens of Ogbomoso Ajilete is to invest at home. There are a lot of abandoned projects at home which can be revisted and developed. Of recent I learnt there is a cite for national stadium in Ogbomoso. Why don't we do something about this? Why can't we have branch of 'our' companies at home in order to develop the land further? I am not pleased with the state of development of the land. Please let us all rise and do something for our land. We will get there.

It would have been better if the LAUTECH Teaching Hospital be quickly relocated to Iresa Apa end of the site of the School. this will further geer up development of the city from that end rapidly.
let Ogbomoso sons and daughters that are well to do home add abroad come home and see things done by our patriots fathers suffering from neglet. Examples include the Soun Palace,Town Hall, the good tarred roads for which Ogbomoso was known,

Ogbomoso is a beautiful town and indigenes of the town can be found anywhere in the world, there is a local joke that if you get to a city and you can't find an ogbomoso man there just leave immediately(that means the town does not accept visitors).

In the Soun's palace(the paramount ruler) we have a tortoise that is over a hundred years old,the famous tortoise is still alive.

In Ogbomoso,we have Ogbomoso grammar school which produced a lot of people that hold various postion in public and private sector, like dele adeyemo and other.

Ogbomoso High School produced the present Governor of Oyo state in person of Otunba Adebayo Alao Akala.
