Avoid the "haggling system", Cyprus

After a 5 hour flight I detest the system of haggling the price of a taxi fare, and you're brave (or foolhardy) to jump in a Cypriot taxi without knowing the price in advance. Yes, there are meters, but.... It's worth booking your airport transfer taxi online before you go. I've used these people (http://www.grabthatcab.com/) several times and have had no problems, even used the same driver for local trips as well. There are other firms but these are mainly based at the airport you never see the drivers again...which in some cases isn't a bad thing:)
