In the village of Vatasa, close to Kavadarci, a monument was erected to thirteen young men who were killed by the Bulgarians during the Second World War.

Kavadarci is close to the new ski center Kozuv, that has a bright future, considering that is one of the biggest on the Balkan.
Kavadarci is also close to the Tikves lake, witch is a nice place to visit during summer, because temperatures in this part of Macedonia are high during summer.
