Mombasa is an island city located on a deep natural harbour of the Indian Ocean. It is the largest seaport in East Africa. It is without question Kenya's lifeline to the rest of the world and is a hot and busy city with a great sense of history. The Port of Mombasa includes Kilindini Harbour, the "Old Port", Port Tudor, and the waters surrounding the island of Mombasa. Treasury Square is the administrative centre of Mombasa and consists of a beautiful garden square, the old town hall, and some colonial buildings. The Old Town is both beautiful and fascinating and its most noteworthy attraction is Fort Jesus.
