The Moremi Game Reserve takes up the eastern corner of the Okavango Delta in the north west of Botswana. This area is very flat and comprises a network of waterways, lagoons and pans amongst floodplains, islands and reedbanks. Dense mopane woodlands and riverine forests lead to the open grasslands of the floodplains and aquatic vegetation in wetter areas. Moremi is one of the leading wildlife areas in southern Africa and is certainly one of the most beautiful. One will see elephant, impala, roan antelope, sable and baboon, while the floodplains and grasslands are home to the full spectrum of game found in the Okavango Delta.
