Inhaca Island is situated about 40 km east of Maputo. The islad has beautiful tropical beaches and extensive coral reefs. Other attractions of the island include the maritime museum and a historic lighthouse. The island is a popular daytrip escape from the capital Maputo. The restaurant located in the village next to the market is recommended for their seafood.
