Matobo Hills are located 54 km southwest of Bulawayo in south western Zimbabwe. This rock garden of the giants is rich in high quality ancient rock paintings and strange granite formations. The rock formations give rise to all kinds of fantasy images. A range of domes, spires and balancing rock formations has been hewn by nature out of granite.
