Displayed: times.Gonarezhou National Park is situated on the south-east border of Zimbabwe adjacent to Mozambique. Gonarezhou means 'abode of elephant'. The Runde River runs through the park and the red sandstone Tjolotjo Cliffs lining the river. The views of the cliffs from Fishans Camp are best. The flat undulating country is broken by the valleys of three rivers and by some isolated hills. It is a residence of: buffalo, elephant, lion, leopard, hippo, croocodile and a range of antelope.
