Bilesuvar, Azerbaijan

Bilesuvar is a small town on the road to Lenkoran baptized after the Russian writer Aleksandr Pushkin by the Soviets, but that always remained Bilesuvar for the locals. The town is surrounded by vast wheat, cotton fields and a marshy area to the north, with diverse bird life. Beware of the mosquitoes - lots of them!
