Only currency issued by the Banque des Etats de lÂ’Afrique Centrale (Bank of Central African States) is valid; currency issued by the Banque des Etats de lÂ’Afrique de lÂ’Ouest (Bank of West African States) is not. The CFA Franc is tied to the Euro.
