It’s only 15.40 but the day feels like two already. Train journey wasn’t bad, it was cold and long, but in the end not long enough, because we arrived in Casablanca at 5.10, 5 minutes ahead of schedule. The hostel is apparently only 350 metres from the station, but it doesn’t open til 8. The Mauritanian embassy where we must go today to get our visa, doesn’t open until 9. It’s dark and cold.
