Travel story: The weekend in Exeter, finally!

The first weekend after classes has been great. I spent yesterday walking to the Quay (pronounced "Key") and having coffee with a few friends. At the Quay, there are boats for rent, cafes, antique shops, and restaurants. It sits on the canal that was once a busy port of Exeter. There is even a 25 p ferry where a man pulls you across the canal using a rope. For the first time, I had to step over a freshly pooling stream of urine, getting a British-ly polite "sorry" from the source. After it... More
