Travel story: Surfing in December

This weekend the international students (some of them anyway) spent a wonderful time in St. Ives. It's a little village on the west coast of England in Cornwall. We stayed at a surfer backpacker's hostel. The town seems to be the destination of surfers. And, yes, I SURFED!!!! It was GORGEOUS. As soon as we arrived, we went and rented "gear."
