Travel story: Thailand 2004: Day Six

Friday 13th. Martin wakes me at 1pm today. Curse this infernal hot weather. We’re going to have a nice, lazy afternoon, before the party tonight. We cycle to a little cafe and have a seafood fried rice lunch. In England, seafood is cockles, mussels, and prawns. Over here it’s like sea monsters. With tentacles and everything.
