I got up at 12pm today - quite impressed with myself. In a moment of clarity, I realised that this is not jet lag - it’s forced insomnia!

You see, trying to get to sleep here is difficult for two reasons: if you turn the air conditioning on, you can’t sleep over the noise of the air conditioning. But if you turn the air conditioning off, you can’t sleep because you’re drenched in sweat from the intense heat!
