Travel story: Rome 2004: Day Eight

Today is our last day apart, before a brief day together, and then a whole lifetime apart! I wander back around my parks, and write a little, in between reading snippets of Great Mambo Chicken and the Transhuman Condition. Both novels are finished now - and to think, I had hoped not to have time to read either!

Back to the hotel for 3pm. I will have to wait hours for Lois Ann, I know, but I haven’t the energy to carry on outside, it’s just too hot, and I feel like... More
