Travel story: Weeks 3-5, Japan

Here is the long-awaited update. Sorry for the delay, but I've been pretty busy. It's been a good 2 weeks. So one month has passed, and all is well. No evidence of culture shock for me, and wishing my stay here is longer because, at the rate I'm spending learning Japanese, another month or two would be more ideal.
