The Okavengo Delta in Botswana is a unique place. It is the only place on earth where a river does not flow into the sea; it flows into the Kalahari Desert, forms a huge delta/swamp that supports incredible wildlife, and then the water disappears into the desert sands. The Okavengo is mostly swamp and is filled with African wildlife.
