Brussels was cold, dark and rainy. When the birds flew south, we flew north. It turned out to be less cold in Copenhagen than in Brussels.

Wonderful wonderful Copenhagen, as the song goes. Hans Christian Andersen's statue looks down upon the city from a high pillar. He always was a distant type.

A Danish colleague had booked us a room in Hotel Kong Arthur at a very reasonable price. It was very central and we could easily walk everywhere.... More
