Travel story: Our Lady of Paris March 10, 2002

Sunday morning, we caught part of Mass at Notre Dame. Wow! I've been to big Gothic Medieval cathedrals before, but this one topped them all. It's huge, grand, stately, and beautiful. And seeing Mass there changed everything for me. This was no longer just a stately Medieval work of art. No. This was the heartbeat of a centuries-old community. This was a true testament to the faith of people a lot like the Parisians hearing Mass right then.
