Travel story: Southside of Paradise October 1, 2002

Paradise must be a lot like Kauai, and Poipu is the Garden of Eden. This island is the least touristy and most scenic. Everywhere is lush green or pristine beach. My parents, Thomas, and I first visited Hawaii a few years back, a friend of Hawaiian heritage recommended Kauai as being the most laid-back and natural of all the islands. She was right, and we loved it! So we knew we must return.
